Walk for Brain Cancer Tweed Heads is a 25km walk which is held on the Sunday of Labour day long weekend (Queens birthday, QLD) every year. The scenic walk begins at Ambrose Brown Park, Pottsville and finishes at Fingal Head, with drink and sunscreen refill stations at Cabarita and Jack Bayliss Park, Kingscliff.
Walk as an individual, a team or a relay and help raise funds for a Cure for Brain Cancer. Last year's walk was a great success with just under $10K raised and we would love to top that this year.
The $40 registration fee includes:-
bus back to the beginning of the walk
sunscreen refill and 1st aid stations approximately every 8kms
- BBQ on
completion of the walk
If you would like transport back to your car at the conclusion of the walk, please contact Karlee at firstname.lastname@example.org to organise. PLEASE NOTE: The walk starts at
8am Daylight saving time. "This cause is close to my heart as I lost my cousin this year at just 40 years old. He left behind his gorgeous wife and 3 children all under 15. Let's come together and support our community who are affected by brain cancer.
