Join thousands of Australian's taking part in Walk4BrainCancer this month. Get to your feet and join us for an inspirational 5km morning walk along the South Perth Foreshore to raise funds and awareness for brain cancer research. Gather at the foreshore near The Boatshed Restaurant, Coode St Jetty, Sir James Mitchell Park from 7:30am for an 8:30am start.
Afterwards enjoy a family day out with a BBQ lunch and live music. Bring your picnic rug and chairs - there will be plenty of staff and volunteers to mind them whilst you walk.
MC | Hayley Scott
Entertainment | Ari Davis
Singer-songwriter Ari Davis will be performing again this year at Walk4BrainCancer Perth and he has a very personal connection to brain cancer, after losing a friend to the disease. Hear him performing the song he wrote for Bryan.
Tree of Hope
The origami crane was chosen as the symbol of Cure Brain Cancer as it represents longevity and good fortune. It is said when one makes 1000 origami cranes their wish will come true. Make your origami crane or bring a photo or message to hang from the Tree of Hope and make your wish.
Click to download the PDF below for instructions to make your own origami crane.
