Lets Beat it Wollongong!

"My dad Stojan was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 34. He sadly passed away 12 months following his surgery, leaving behind mum who was 30 at the time and 3 young children. We miss Dad every day and wonder what life would have been like if he was still with us. It is devastating that more than 20 years on, brain cancer kills more children than any other disease and more people under 40 than any other cancer. Of recent, wonderful members of our local community have been left devastated with a brain cancer diagnosis or the loss of their loved ones due to brain cancer and it is absolutely heartbreaking. The walk for me represents awareness, funds for research and advocacy, support, love, hope, honour and respect."
